On 10/10/09 at approximately 3:00 a.m., a witness was returning to his apartment in the 4200 block of 9th NE, on the 3rd floor, when he encountered a fire consisting of burning paper in the hallway.
The witness called 911 and Seattle Fire Department responded. An approximate 1 foot square area of hallway carpet was burned. No suspect information. Seattle PD Arson Bomb Unit responded to investigate.
