DV disturbance ended in Victim being stabbed

On 10/15/09, at approximately 10:15 p.m., officers responded to the 2700 block of NE 110th St. to a report of a heated domestic violence incident where the the suspect stabbed the victim in the abdomen. 

The victim said she attempted to leave the home so she could call for assistance but when she got near the front door the suspect walked up to her and stabbed her in the stomach with a kitchen knife.  The victim said she pushed him back and left the house to call the police.  Officers arrived and set up containment on the house and escorted to a safe area. 

The suspect was seen looking out of an upstairs window by containment officers and then given verbal commands to exit the house.  The suspect did exit the house via the front door and was arrested. 

The victim was treated on scene by Seattle Fire for a stab wound that was approx 1” deep, but she refused to be transported to the hospital.  The suspect, who also made several death threats during this incident, was booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Assault (DV), and Investigation of  Harassment (DV).
