On 1/2/10, just shortly before midnight, a scheduled event was being held in a club in the 100 block of S. Horton St. According to security more than 450 persons entered (occupancy limit is less than 300).
The club was closed and patrons sent on their way.
While clearing the parking area behind the club, officers saw a fight break out. One participant pulled a gun. When confronted, suspect sluffed the gun & attempted to run. No such luck. He was taken into custody without incident and the weapon was recovered.
A 24-year-old male was arrested and booked into King County Jail for Violation of Uniform Firearms Act.
Two other males in their 20’s were booked into King County Jail for Obstruction.
