Suspicious circumstances, trespassing in Magnolia

On January 4th, at approximately 12:37 am, the residents  of a house in the 3400 Block of 11th Avenue West were awakened by their dogs barking.  When they got up to investigate, they saw a man looking through the windows of their house.  The male resident of the house went outside chasing the suspect from the yard.  His wife called 911 while he followed the suspect on foot.  Officers arrived quickly in the area after the 911 call. Officers located the suspect at 12th Avenue West and West Emerson Street with the husband following from a distance.  There was no evidence that the suspect had attempted to enter the residence.  The suspect, a 47-year old man, was arrested for trespassing and taken to the West Precinct where it was discovered that he had an outstanding Department of Corrections VUCSA (drugs) warrant.  He was later booked into the King County Jail for trespassing and the warrant.
