On January 8th at approximately 4:47 p.m. officers responded to a bank robbery in progress in the 800 block of NE Northgate Way. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle. Responding officers set up containment and shortly thereafter officers stopped the suspect in traffic and took him into custody without further incident.
The suspect was positively identified by witnesses and subsequently booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery. The suspect vehicle was impounded. This remains an active Robbery investigation.
