On January 11th at approximately 1:45 a.m. officers responded to the following call: An 18-year old man was walking through the Seattle Center grounds listening to his I-pod. He was unaware of two suspects who approached him from behind. One of the suspects removed the headphones then took the I-pod from the victim’s pocket. One suspect had his hand in his pocket and stated that he had a gun, although one was never actually seen. The suspects then took other items from the victim and fled on on foot. The victim then called his father, who responded to the scene. The two of them drove around until the victim saw the two suspects. The father then called 911.
Officers met with the victim and his father in the 500 block of Harrison Street. They stated that they saw the two suspects a short distance away. Officers responded to the 300 block of 5th Avenue North where they located the two suspects. Some, but not all of the victim’s stolen property was recovered. The victim was able to postively identify the suspects. The two suspects, ages 18 and 19, were arrested and booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery and outstanding warrants.
