Burglary suspect arrested after tripping alarm

On January 21st at approximately 3:24 a.m. officers responded to an alarm at a public high school located in the 1400 block of NE 66th Street.  School Security had detained an 18-year-old male suspect who was observed walking out of the school’s south doors after the alarm had been tripped.  The suspect was in possession of a backpack and a crowbar at the time of his apprehension.  Responding officers took custody of the suspect and he was subsequently booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Burglary.
