On March 25th at approximately 9:28 AM, a Seattle Police officer in a marked patrol vehicle was involved in a collision with another vehicle in the intersection of 19th Avenue and East Madison. The male officer sustained minor injuries and sought treatment later at a local hospital as a precaution. The female driver of the other vehicle was treated at the scene by the Fire Department and then later taken to the hospital as a precaution. There were no life-threatening injuries. Detectives from the Traffic Collision Investigation Squad (TCIS) responded to the scene and will conduct the investigation.
