On April 9th at approximately 3:15 p.m. an adult male suspect entered a gift shop inside a hospital in the 200 block of 16th Avenue East while employees were in a back room. A store employee heard a noise and came up front to see the suspect with the store’s cash register in his arms. The suspect shoved the female employee out of the way in his bid to escape with the cash register and the money inside. The suspect fled the scene and remains at large.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 30’s, bald, 5’8″, 180 lbs., wearing a dark-colored jacket, and black shirt and pants.
