On April 12th at approximately 12:57 a.m. officers responded to the 1100 block of North 115th Street for a report of shots fired. Shortly thereafter another 911 call came in reporting a man shot. Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim on the south side of the street who had sustained what appeared to be two gunshot wounds to his torso. SFD medics responded to the scene and transported the 26-year-old male victim to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The suspect, who remains at large, is described as a medium-skinned black male wearing a black hat, black jacket and blue jeans. An area search for the suspect is currently on-going utilizing the assistance of K-9 units. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown at this time. This remains an active and on-going investigation.
