On Saturday, April 17th, the Seattle Police Department will join other law enforcement agencies throughout Washington in supporting the Special Olympics of Washington by participating in the annual “Tip-A-Cop” fundraiser. SPD will be teaming up with the Northgate Red Robin restaurant (401 NE Northgate Way) and having officers work in tandem with Red Robin servers from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Officers from SPD are volunteering to work in shifts of 2 hours or more during the fundraiser.
100% of the tips earned between these hours will go to support the Special Olympics of Washington.
The Special Olympics is hoping to raise at least $100,000 during this event statewide. SPD and Special Olympics would love to see you at this event!
