Man shot in North Seattle

On May 6th at approximately 5:10 p.m. officers responded to a 911 report of shots fired.  Officers responded to the area and located a male on the ground near the corner of North 113th Street and Meridian Avenue North.  The victim told officers that he had been shot in the left arm by a male suspect who claimed that the victim owed him money.  After shooting the victim, the suspect ran off in an unknown location.

Seattle Fire responded and treated the 24-year-old male victim at the scene.  He was later transported to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.

While interviewing the victim, officers recovered a small baggy of drugs from his person.  At this time, it is unknown what precipitated the shooting.
