Woman Assaulted/Robbed, suspect apprehended

On July 10th at approximately 2:09 a.m. a female victim left a bar in the 300 block of 1st Avenue North.  After leaving she realized that she left her cell phone on a table.  She returned to the bar and saw an adult male suspect take her phone from the table, place it in his pocket and exit the bar with another male.  She immediately went outside, confronted the suspect and attempted to retrieve her phone.  While doing so, the other male grabbed her, pulled her away from the suspect and punched her in the head several times.  The two suspects then fled.

Responding officers managed to locate and stop one of the suspects, who was positively identified by the victim.   He was arrested and subsequently booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery.

The victim suffered pain from the assault but declined medical attention.  The other suspect remains at large.
