On July 14th at approximately 6:20 p.m. officers responded to a drive-by shooting that occurred in the 9700 block of 57th Avenue South. Preliminary investigation indicates that the 29-year-old male victim was shot in the upper arm by a suspect riding in a passing car. The victim was treated at the scene by SFD medics and subsequently transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of his non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspects fled the scene in a blue and white 1980’s Buick 4-door sedan. The shooter is described as a black male, 19-20 years of age, wearing a white shirt and armed with a handgun. The driver of the suspect vehicle is described as a heavy-set black female in her 20’s wearing a teal-colored shirt. Both suspects remain at large.
