Good citizen of the day

On September 26th just after midnight, West ACT was working Safe Streets emphasis in Belltown.  A man approached officers at 1st Ave/Blanchard and turned over a found wallet.  The man identified himself as a Canadian Police Officer who wished to remain anonymous.  He found the wallet in a Yellow Cab but couldn’t remember the cab number.  The wallet contained $1325 in cash along with ID cards belonging to a Shoreline man.  Officers could not locate a phone number for the man so they drove to his residence.  No one was home.  A found property report was done and cash was entered into evidence.
