On 10/23/ 10 , just shortly after 3 a.m., two officers on routine patrol in the area of 12 and Jackson heard gunfire. The officers located a vehicle, occupied by two adult males nearby. When officers made contact with the vehicle’s occupants one male ran off on foot. The male was subsequently caught. Both males were taken into custody and transported to a police facility for questioning.
At 12th and King, officers located an adult male vicim on the sidewalk who had been multiple times. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center where he later died of his wounds.
Homicide responded and interviewed both the subject who fled (later identified as the suspect) and the driver of the vehicle. The suspect was booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Homicide. The driver was identified and released.
