North Seattle business front for prostitution, arrests made

Seattle Police Vice and High Risk Victims Unit detectives received information that a business in the 9500 Block of Aurora Avenue North was being used as a front for prostitution activity.  Detectives began an undercover operation which confirmed the illegal activity.  During the course of that investigation, detectives established that the business owners had knowledge of the prostitution.

On February 7th detectives and members of the North Precinct Anti-Crime Team served simultaneous warrants on the business and the owner’s residence in Shoreline.  Cash was seized during the service of the search warrant. A witness at the business provided additional information to detectives confirming the illegal activity.  The owners, a 42 year old female and a 37 year old male were arrested and booked into the King County Jail for promoting prostitution.  This remains an ongoing investigation.
