On March 6th, at approximately 9:00 PM, South Precinct officers responded to a robbery call at a business in the 2500 Block of Beacon Avenue South. A male and female suspect entered the business and confronted the clerk. The female suspect, described as black, heavy set, and in her 20’s, assaulted the clerk with mace or pepper spray. The male suspect, a black male in his 20’s, 5-11, skinny, and wearing glasses and a yellow t-shirt, then grabbed the cash register and the two suspects fled. K-9 did respond and attempted a track, but the suspects were not located. Detectives will now conduct the follow up investigation.
