On March 31st, at approximately 7:25 AM, an adult male reported he was walking near 27th Avenue NE and NE 135th Street, when a black Ford Focus pulled up next to him. The driver, a male in his 40’s, got out and robbed the victim at gunpoint. The suspect then got back in the car and drove off. The victim was able to note the license plate and call 911. Officers arrived in the area quickly and located the suspect vehicle. It was stopped and the occupants were detained. The victim was able to positively identify the suspect. The suspect, 46, had the victim’s wallet and cellphone on his person. The suspect was arrested and booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery. A gun was not located at the time, but the suspect car has been impounded. Robbery detectives will conduct the follow up investigation.
