On 4/6/11 at approximately 2:45 p.m., a Green Saturn 4 door Sedan was traveling N/B on 12 Ave approaching the 1800blk. While in the 1800 block , the driver for unknown reasons struck a legally parked Black BMW Sedan and flipped upside down in the roadway.
The driver of the Saturn fled the scene on foot with his 2 children (3 YOA and infant) until he was captured by patrol units.
Seattle Fire Department responded to the scene to examine the children and they were transported to Harborview Medical Center as a pre-caution due to their age.
The Hit & Run suspect was booked into King County Jail for Hit & Run, DUI and Reckless Driving.
