Badges for Baseball

The Cal Ripken Sr. Foundationn (CRSF) has partnered with Symetra Financial Corporation, the Washington State Attorney General’s Office and local law enforcement to bring the Badges for Baseball program to Washington State.  The event kicked off today at the Rainier Vista Boys and Girls Club, 4520 Martin Luther King Jr, Way South.  Baseball great Cal Ripken Jr. was present to lead the festivities along with Tom Marra from Symetra and of course Attorney General Rob McKenna.  Most importantly, youth from the Rainier Vista Boys and Girls club were present during the announcement of this new partnership.  Big thanks go to Executive Director Rick Dupree of the Rainier Vista  Boys and Girls Club for hosting and for Rainier Vista board member and Seattle Police detective “Cookie” Bouldin for organizing the SPD participation in this project.
