On April 21st, at approximately 8:40 PM, witnesses called 911 to report that several people (anywhere from 4-6), all dressed in black clothing with hoods and masks, were smashing out the windows of a bank located in the 300 Block of Broadway Avenue East. The group smashed the windows using a hammer, then left paper fliers at the scene before fleeing on foot. East Precinct officers responded to the location. The suspects were able to smash eight exterior windows before fleeing the scene. Officers collected evidence left at the scene and then contact bank officials so they could secure the building. Anyone with information on this crime is urged to contact the Seattle Police Department.
