On May 3rd, at approximately 10:33 PM, North Precinct officers were dispatched to an assault in the 8700 Block of Aurora Avenue North. The report stated that a male suspect was assaulting a female. Another man witnessed this and came to the woman’s assistance. The second man assaulted the first man, giving that man a possible skull fracture, a loss of consciousness, who had to be transported by Seattle Fire Department to Harborview Medical Center for serious injuries. The 43 year old victim remains hospitalized. The 44 year old female was also transported to HMC with possible facial fractures. The suspect who assaulted the male fled the scene. Detectives are following up on this investigation.
