On 5/4/10, at approximately 9:19 a.m., first watch officers responded to a home invasion/armed robbery at a Queen Anne residence on Fulton Street. A 74-year-old female reported that two suspects, possibly Asian or Latino males entered her residence through an open back door around 8:30 a.m. The suspects were unknown to the victim. The victim stated that the suspects had plastic ‘zip-ties’ with them, and one of the suspects was armed with a small black pistol.
The suspects held the victim at gunpoint inside her residence. The suspects went through the victim’s residence, taking a large amount of jewelry, cash and two firearms.
The suspects exited the residence, and the victim called 911. When Officers arrived they did an area search for the suspects, canvassed the neighborhood for possible victims/evidence and located the victim who had walked to a nearby neighbor’s location.
The victim was not injured, and no suspects, witnesses or evidence was located. Robbery Detectives responded, processed the crime scene and interviewed the victim.
