Burglary arrest in South Seattle

On May 29th at approximately 10:05 a.m. officers responded to a 911 report of a burglary to a business in the 9400 block of Rainier Avenue South.  The reporting party observed two adult male suspects inside the fenced storage lot of the closed auto repair garage removing parts from a vehicle.  The suspects began to leave with the stolen auto assessories when the owner of the business confronted them.  The suspects fled the scene on foot.

Responding officers located one of the suspects near 56th Avenue South and South Fletcher Street.  The 26-year-old male suspect was placed under arrest and subsequently booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Burglary.  

The second suspect remains at large. 

South Precinct Burglary detectives will handle the on-going investigation.
