Malicious Harassment threats and arrest

On June 12th at 3:07 a.m., West Precinct patrol officers responded to the 100 block of Alaskan Way S to a report of a disturbance.  Upon arrival, officers discovered that the adult male suspect had already fled on foot.

The adult male victim told officers that he was out walking his dogs when the suspect approached him and asked for change.  When the victim told the suspect that he didn’t have any, the suspect threatened to kill him and his dogs.  The suspect also made derogatory remarks about the victim’s sexual orientation.  An adult male witness who was passing saw the altercation and stepped between the suspect and the victim.  At this point the suspect left.

Additional officers were called to the area to conduct an area check for the suspect.  At 4:14 a.m., the suspect was located on the same block as the original incident.  The suspect, a 57 year old man, was booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Malicious Harassment.
