On July 10th, at approximately 11:30 PM, South Precinct officers responded to a report of an assault/stabbing in the 3200 Block of 4th Avenue South. An unknown suspect, described as a black male, approximately 5-09, light skinned, wearing a black and red puffy jacket, stabbed another man in the chest with a steak knife. The suspect then fled northbound on 3rd Avenue South. A K9 team responded for a track, but the suspect managed to get away. The victim, a 32 year old man, was treated by Seattle Fire and then transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. His injuries are not considered life threatening.
