On July 31st, at approximately 7:30 PM, South Precinct officers responded to a burglary alarm at an elementary school in the 3200 Block of 23rd Avenue South. Upon arriving at the location, officers caught two suspects fleeing from the building. Officers later caught a third suspect who had circled back to the school. In addition, officers were able to recover several items of evidence, including walkie-talkies, a hammer, and four fire extinguishers that had been discharged inside the building, causing extensive damage. The two adult suspects, ages 18 and 19 were later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Burglary and Malicious Mischief. The 15 year old suspect was booked into the Youth Services Center.
