Strong-Arm Robbery in North Seattle

On August 5th at approximately 5:01 p.m. officers responded to a 911 report of a strong-arm robbery that occurred at the bus stop on the southwest corner of NE 125th Street and Lake City Way NE.  Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was in the bus shelter and had just removed his wallet to get out his bus pass when the suspects entered the bus shelter.  One of the suspects punched the victim in the face, knocking him to the ground.  The suspects then grabbed the victim’s wallet from him, removed the cash and threw the wallet back at him.  The suspects fled of foot westbound on NE 125th Street.

The suspects were described as two black males in their 20’s, one with long dreadlocks and the other wearing a baseball cap. 

Responding officers conducted an area search however, the suspects remain at large.
