Man stabbed in South Seattle, suspect arrested

On October 15th, at approximately 11:45 pm, South Precinct officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 3900 Block of South Kenyon Street.  The male victim apparently went to an apartment building to visit someone there.  That person did not want to see the victim.  The victim began kicking on the door to the apartment.  A male suspect, 42, confronted the victim and they began fighting in the hallway.  The victim was stabbed several times in the back.  The fight spilled outside onto the street, where the victim was able to flee.  He managed to run away and was contacted by officers about two blocks away.  The suspect was arrested at the apartment building.  Both victim and suspect were transported to the hospital for their injuries.  The victim had life threatening injuries. The suspect was later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Assault.
