Armed Robbery in South Seattle, both suspects caught

On November 23rd at approximately 8:59 a.m. officers responded to reports of an armed robbery at a licensing business in the 3800 block of Rainier Avenue South.  Officers arrived within minutes and set up containment.  The two female victim employees let officers into the business which had not yet opened for the day.  The two adult male suspects were gone upon the officers’ arrival however, a good description of the bandana-wearing suspects was provided to the officers that was subsequently broadcast to other units.  

Robbery detectives responded to the scene.  Officers and detectives developed information that led them to a residence in South Seattle.  Surveillance was set up.  The two suspects subsequently arrived at the residence and were taken into custody.  Detectives recovered a handgun that was used in the armed robbery and stolen cash. 

The two 25-year-old male suspects were interviewed by Robbery detectives and will be booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery.

This remains an active and on-going robbery investigation.
