On 12/05/11, at approximately at 2:20 p.m., dispatch broadcast that a burglar had just exited a residence in the 2000 block of Eastlake Avenue East and that the complainant/victim was following the suspected burglar on foot, Southbound. Officers quickly arrived in the area and spotted a person matching the suspect’s description, hiding in a parking lot. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and positively identified by the complainant.
The suspect was transported to the East Precinct and interviewed by Burglary Detectives. He was later booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Burglary.
