Here is some additional information concerning last night’s barricaded suspect call in the 3700 Block of 14th Avenue South.
Robbery detectives received information identifying a possible suspect in the October 2nd robbery that occured in the 1700 Block of Boylston Avenue. On December 8th at approximately 10:00 pm, the suspect was located at a residence in the 3700 Block of 14th Avenue South. The suspect barricaded himself inside the apartment. SWAT and Negotiators responded. Contact was made with the suspect and he eventually gave up and was taken into custody without further incident. He was transported downtown where he was interviewed by Robbery detectives. The 29 year old suspect was later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery and Assault and an outstanding Department of Corrections Escape warrant.
