On December 3rd, at approximately 1:00 am, a victim was assaulted in the 4500 Block of 8th Avenue NE. The victim was beaten and robbed. He was treated at the scene by Seattle Fire and then transported to Harborview Medical Center, where he still remains. Information obtained by witnesses at the scene led detectives to a possible suspect vehicle and then to a possible suspect. The other witnesses/victims were able to positively identify the suspect.
On December 8th, at approximately 2:00 pm, detectives contacted and arrested the 30 year old suspect in the city of SeaTac. He was transported back to the Robbery office where he was interviewed by detectives. The suspect was later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery and Assault. This remains an ongoing robbery investigation.
