On December 24th at approximately 10:22 a.m. officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at a coffee shop in the 14300 block of Lake City Way NE. The suspect was gone upon the officers’ arrival on scene and remains at large.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a male suspect entered the coffee shop, displayed a handgun that was in his waistband and proceeded to rob the cashier. The suspect placed the money in his backpack and fled the scene northbound on a blue and white motorcycle. Nobody was injured during the robbery.
This remains an active and on-going investigation.
