On 3/3/2012, sometime overnight, officers responded to and investigated the following three occupied residential burglaries.
9700 block of 27th Ave NE – Unidentified suspect(s) threw a small, concrete block through a daylight basement window, then reached inside, took a personal electronics device and fled on foot. Containment was quickly established and K9 made an unsuccessful attempt to track the suspect(s). Burglary detectives also responded.
3800 block of 42nd Ave NE – Unidentified suspect(s) entered the kitchen via an unlocked back door and took a number of items including personal electronics.
4000 block of 41st Ave NE – Unidentified suspect(s) entered the kitchen via an unlocked back door or unlocked window and took a number of items including personal electronics and car keys. The suspect(s) also stole a green, 2005 Acura MDX, WA license # AFV-9085. After an unsuccessful attempt to steal another vehicle. Both vehicles were parked on the street in front of the residence they belong to.
In each case, the residents were asleep in their respective homes. All suspects remain at large; no suspect descriptions.
