On 3-3-12, at approximately 12:00 a.m. the victim was begging for cigarettes outside of an establishment in the 6000 block of Airport Way South. The suspects had been harassing patrons throughout the night and when they came upon the victim, they began assaulting him.
The suspects chased the victim southbound on Airport Way and eventually knocked him to the ground. At that point, the victim stabbed one of the suspects with a screwdriver and was able to escape. The suspects were highly intoxicated.
The suspects were located at Airport Way South and Nebraska where Seattle Fire Department treated suspect #1 for a minor stab wound to his back. The 24-year-old suspect was transported to Harborview Medical Center. The victim was not located. The second suspect was released to his step- father and was subsequently arrested a short time later for DV-Assault, and Property Damage. The 46-year-old suspect was booked into King County Jail.
The victim unknown victim was described as a black male, 30s, wearing dark clothes.
