Large Fight Disturbance, Aggravated Assault, Two Arrested

On April 29th at approximately 2:10 a.m. multiple officers responded to the 7200 block of East Marginal Way South for the report of a large fight disturbance.  Preliminary investigation indicates that at least two male suspects left a club and made several comments to some females south of the club.  A 17-year-old male (the victim) took offense to the comments and followed the suspects over to a nearby convenience store where a confrontation occurred (it is unknown what was said to the females).  The confrontation soon escalated into a fight involving more than 30 people.

The male victim was assaulted with a tire iron and a hammer.  There were also three female victims assaulted.

SFD medics responded to the scene and transported the male victim to Harborview Medical Center with unknown injuries.

Two male suspects, 39 and 40 years old, were arrested and positively identified at the scene.  Both suspects were subsequently booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Assault.
