On April 29th at approximately 5:02 p.m. officers responded to a report of a child falling from a 3rd story window in the 1200 block of North 88th Street. Preliminary investigation indicates that the boy, believed to be six years old, was sitting on a 3rd floor window sill blowing bubbles when he accidently fell out the open window, sustaining apparent head and leg injuries (the window screen was either open or removed).
Both parents were home at the time of the incident. There is no indication of foul play.
SFD medics responded to the scene and transported the boy to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries where he remains under treatment.
