Sunday, May 6, 2012 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon
Aurora Church of the Nazarene
1900 N. 175th
Shoreline, WA 98133
All law enforcement agencies are cordially invited to be a part of a Law Enforcement Memorial and Appreciation service on Sunday, May 6th at 9:00 a.m. at the Aurora Church of the Nazarene.
U.S. Congressman David Reichert will be the keynote speaker.
This event is geared to honor law enforcement officers that have given their life in the line of duty and to show appreciation for all active and retired officers. All officers and their families are invited to attend and are encouraged to wear their uniform.
We also would like your department to provide a display for viewing from the public. All displays with the exception of some older restored police vehicles will be inside the church. The type of displays we would like is as follows: K-9, narcotics, SWAT, department mascots, department motorcycles, police bicycles, recruiting and marine equipment. If your department wants to provide a display the set up time would start at 7:30 a.m. the morning of the event and tear down time would be after 12:30 p.m.
This event is being sponsored by Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound and Washington’s Most Wanted television show. Thanks!
