Public Urinater Wanted For Attacking Belltown Neighbors

Seattle police need your help tracking down a man who attacked a group of Belltown residents earlier this month after they caught him urinating on their apartment building.

A group of men and women were walking down Blanchard Street toward 2nd Avenue at about 11:15 pm on July 4th when they saw the man, who was apparently intoxicated, using their building as a toilet.

A woman in the group asked the suspect to knock off his uncouth behavior, but he waved the group away and continued peeing.

As the group walked past the man, the man stopped peeing long enough to get in their faces and insult them.

The man then lunged at the group, shoved three group members and slapped one woman in the face, also leaving a cut on her neck.

When one man in the group tried to get in between the suspect and the woman, the suspect punched him several times.

The suspect then struggled with the man and eventually walked off.

The suspect is believed to be between 30 and 45 years old, 5’10, 190 pounds, who was wearing a black Chicago White Sox jersey over a shirt with a picture of Darth Vader during the attack.

If you recognize this uncouth urinater, please call the Seattle Police Department’s tip line at 233-5000.
