Update on this morning’s Belltown collision investigation

The truck involved in this morning’s collision in the 300 Block of Wall Street was an unreported stolen vehicle from Seattle. This may account for why the driver failed to pull over.   About an hour after the collision, the registered owner of the truck contacted police to report that  their truck had been stolen sometime overnight.  Officers took a report from the registered owner.  Both vehicles involved in the collision have  been removed from the scene and Wall Street between 3rd and 4th Avenue has since reopened to traffic.  This remains an active investigation.
