A man wearing knee pads was caught breaking into a Belltown apartment. This morning just shortly after 7:00 a.m., the suspect was spotted breaking into an apartment unit in the 2200 block of 4th Avenue.
An officer had responded the previous week to a burglary in the same building. Officers quickly responded to the scene and apprehended the suspect. The suspect was armed with a knife in a sheath, an expandable baton (ASP) and a second folding knife.
The suspect was also found to be wearing knee pads under his pants. The 32-year-old suspect was booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Burglary.
