A male suspect was arrested at a party after robbing a man walking home in West Seattle Friday night. On February 15th at approximately 10:50 p.m. the male victim left a large party and walked toward his home alone. In the 4800 block of Delridge Way SW the suspect walked up behind him, pointed a pistol at him, and demanded that the victim empty his pockets or be shot. As the victim emptied his pockets he dropped his cell phone on the grass. The suspect picked it up and fled the scene.
Investigating officers went to the party to see if they could find the suspect. Not only did officers locate the suspect, they also found the stolen cell phone in the suspect’s possession as well as a realistic looking plastic pistol.
The suspect was arrested and subsequently booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery.
The victim was not injured during the incident.
