Fight Disturbance at Night Club Downtown

Multiple officers responded to a fight disturbance at a downtown night club where one woman was treated by medics.

On February 24th at approximately 12:53 a.m. a fight erupted between two females inside the Club Citrus located in the 1000 block of Fairview Avenue North.  At one point an unidentified male punched one of the females.  The group then exited the club and the two females chased each other around the parking lot.  Apparently the same male then punched the other female (Victim 1) and then left with the first female he’d punched (they were gone upon the officers’ arrival).

At some point while the disturbance was going on inside the club, an unknown person threw a champagne bottle across the dance floor.  It struck an uninvolved female (Victim 2) who was enjoying the club with some friends.  It is unknown if that female or her group were actually targeted, or if they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Fire department medics responded to the scene and treated female victim 2, who was subsequently transported to Harborview Medical Center for complaints of head pain.  Victim 1 declined any medical treatment at the scene and left on her own.

A contingent of officers stayed in the area until the crowd thinned out in an effort to prevent any further violence.  There were no arrests.
