If you see a handcuffed man running around near First Hill, give police a call. Seattle police officers and King County Sheriff’s deputies have been searching for the man since he fled from deputies at Harborview hospital earlier today.
Just after 1:30 pm, deputies were getting ready to transport the 31-year-old SeaTac man—wanted on two theft warrants—from Harborview to the King County Jail when the man took off running, and fled to a parking garage near the hospital.
Police, deputies, and Harborview security searched the parking garage, but weren’t able to find the man—a Samoan male, 5’8, 170 lbs, last seen wearing a pair of handcuffs.
Officers and deputies are still searching around the hospital for the suspect, but if you see him first, please call 911.
