The suspect told one of the victims to go to the door and to tell the officers that everything was okay. The victim did as he was told however; the officers felt that something was wrong and continued to press the victim for information. After further investigation, the officers were able to determine that an armed suspect was inside the home.
Additional officers and a K-9 responded to the scene and set up containment. Officers convinced the suspect to release the second victim. After both victims were safely out of the house, officers conducted a search and found the suspect hiding in the bathroom.
The armed man was arrested without incident. The Robbery Unit responded and processed the scene. Several stolen items were recovered at the scene and returned to the victims. The 21-year-old suspect was later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery.
