It was just after 7am this morning when a Müesli mystery unfolded outside the Mystery Bookshop in downtown Seattle.
Officers got a call about a suspicious package outside the store—near 1st Ave and Cherry Street—where they found modem card, a phone cord, and a granola bar in an inflated wrapper all stacked atop a piece of white paper.
Because everyone knows you simply cannot trust a granola bar (they pretend to be healthy but they’re basically candy), officers closed off the sidewalk and one lane of traffic on Cherry Street and called in the Arson/Bomb Squad to examine the inflated candy bar/computer contraption.
ABS detectives arrived at 1st and Cherry and, after about five minutes, determined the strangely swollen cereal bar was harmless, and left the scene.
