A 20-year-old man called police just after midnight this morning after he was targeted in an apparent drive-by shooting.
The man told officers he was walking near 24th Ave S. and S. Grand Street just after midnight when a lime green Chevy Caprice rolled past him. The victim told officers someone in the car fired three shots toward him, striking him once in the hand.
The man ran off and called 911.
Officers and medics arrived at the scene and treated the 20-year-old for what officers characterized as a “minor abrasion” to his hand.
An officer then drove the man to Harborview for treatment.
