Officers located and arrested four juvenile males after a daytime burglary in West Seattle today.
At approximately 1:54 p.m. officers responded to the 7700 block of 15th Avenue SW after two witnesses saw four male suspects burglarize a house and called 911 to report the suspects fleeing northbound on foot. Responding officers located all four juvenile male suspects: two of the suspects were stopped at 15th Avenue SW and SW Holden Street and the other two suspects were stopped at 16th and Holden. Officers recovered some of the victim’s property from the suspects.
One suspect had a loaded handgun magazine on his person however, a subsequent area search with the assistance of canine units was unable to locate the handgun.
Three of the suspects were booked into juvenile detention for Investigation of Burglary. One of the suspects was interviewed and released pending further investigation.
This remains an active and on-going burglary investigation.
